Three masts yacht

Background Image

This steel sailing yacht, which is probably one of the most beautiful and majestic sailboats of all time, is 88 metres long and features 2,400 sq. m. of sails, 3 masts, and also include our motors that are used to maneuovre the sails.

Technical specification: asynchronous motors with a high torque/mass ratio mounted on each winch of the sailing yacht with a rigging plan which is fully power-assisted and controlled by PC.

Wherever specialization and advanced technology are required, we are around.

FloWave Pool

Background Image

It took two years, from 2012 to 2014, to build this circular pool at the University of Edinburgh which is 30 metres in diameter and 25 metres deep. It was an Edinburgh Design project conceived to simulate sea currents and an omnidirectional wave motion, for testing renewable energy devices.

Technical specification: Submerged in the pool are our torque synchronous motors which feature IP68 protection, are not cooled and have a tapered shaft for joining to propellers.

Our R&D department works on experimental projects with enthusiasm and proactivity.

Watermill

Background Image

Water mills are part of the history of man, providing assistance with daily tasks. Having been half abandoned in the name of modernity, they are acquiring a new role as clean energy generators. The watermill at the Molino della Raina farm in Semiana, Lomellina, is a must-see. Its blades turn, operating our generator which creates electricity using the magnetic flux generated.

Technical specification: Permanent magnet synchronous generator for power generation machinery which uses the kinetic energy of water.

A meeting point between the past and the future is possible thanks to the synergy between water mills and electric generators.

Small wind turbines

Background Image

Wind is transformed into electricity through wind turbines of all sizes. Wind power is an alternative energy. It's abundant, renewable, supports a green economy and produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation.

Technical specification: Permanent magnet synchronous generator with high efficiency direct drive for wind turbines.

The design of these generators is our contribution to a more livable world .

Tunnel Boring Machine

Background Image

Referred to as TBM by the insiders, it is actually gigantic in size. This full-section mechanical cutter is used to drill mountain tunnels, and to make covers for them, or for digging below aquifers, to open underground tunnels, for example.

Technical specification: These moles mount our water-cooled asynchronous motors which are suitable for use in humid environments and designed for very heavy use.

We participate in great projects that break down isolation and barriers.

Pipelayers

Background Image

These are large platforms used to lay pipelines on the seabed. They stow the pipes welded directly on board and gradually release them onto the seabed, as the ship moves along its course. Here our motors take part in the precision work which is needed to hold the pipes to be welded perfectly aligned, despite the waves of the sea.

Technical specification: Asynchronous motors for pipelaying system in the sea.

Even when we are just a small part of the whole project, we work as if we were in involved in every part: with the utmost care and responsibility.
